About MAE LabWorks

MAE LabWorks is dedicated to making engineering lab experiences available to all students and faculty, connecting classroom learning to real-world phenomena.

What is MAE LabWorks?

MAE LabWorks is a new and improved way to help students have engineering lab experiences by practicing the principles learned in class. The LabWorks spaces provide students and faculty with open access to lab equipment for classes, clubs, or personal use. MAE is run by a team of Student Lab Techs (SLTs) dedicated to helping students and professors. When you are ready to begin, contact a lab tech and they will help you get started.

Professor Zac Humes is the supervising faculty member of MAE LabWorks. Reach out if you have any suggestions on how we can improve LabWorks including, equipment, facilities, and safety.

Student Lab Tutors

As Student Lab Tutors (SLT's), we are here to assist you with any questions you may have regarding the LabWorks lab spaces. This includes (but is not limited to): equipment, lab instructions, lab availability, and training. 

If you have questions regarding your course content, data interpretation, or lab report results, please contact your course TA's or instructor.
